Writer George Jeffrie dies
George Jeffrie (left) has died.
Best known as a comedy writer with creative partner Bert Tyler-Moore (right), the pair's credits include The Windsors, Tracey Ullman's Show, Harry & Paul, Big Train, and many more.
They had recently been working on the upcoming revived series of Spitting Image, for BritBox.
Part of 1990s comedy act Chris & George, early reports from friends in the comedy community suggest Jeffrie died at the weekend after suffering a heart attack.
