Comedy Here Often: The New Comedy Podcast Network Spotlighting Canadian Performers
Comedy Here Often?, the comedy division of 604 Records, is bringing the jokes with the much-anticipated debut of its Comedy Here Often? Podcast Network.
Launching Nov. 18, the Comedy Here Often? Podcast Network will feature some of Canada’s top comedy and musical talent across more than 30 shows.
“We’re thrilled to be launching the Comedy Here Often? Podcast Network as a hub for audiences to access their favourite performers on-demand,” said Jonathan Simkin, President of 604 Records, who is co-hosting the podcast “Sticks and Stones” with chart-topping country star, Dallas Smith. “There’s so much talent in Canada and it makes us proud to offer a platform that enables homegrown artists to shine.”
The Comedy Here Often? Podcast Network will feature its namesake podcast “Comedy Here Often?” with hosts Kevvy (lead singer of Fake Shark) and Alexi along with podcasts from Katie Ellen Humphries, Derek Seguin, Trent McClellan, and Mike Delamont to name just a few.
604 Records comedy label imprint Comedy Here Often? was founded in 2016, when Jonathan Simkin and local musician and producer Kevvy recognized a gap in the market for West Coast comedians. With an ever-expanding roster of comedians, its since gone on to launch a YouTube channel which streams original and updated content tailored to comedy lovers.
Now, by bringing together the country’s top talent onto a single and convenient platform, the Comedy Here Often? Podcast Network will provide a one-stop destination for fans of Canadian comedy to discover unique and of-the-moment shows they won’t find anywhere else.
