Funny Women Awards 2020 winners
Izzy Askwith has won the 2020 Funny Women Stage Award.
The annual contest for female stand-ups concluded with a live final earlier tonight (Tuesday 22nd September), streamed online from The Comedy Store in Central London.
From more than 300 entries to the competition, the other finalists chosen to compete were: Naomi Cooper, Katie Green, Ania Magliano, Mary O'Connell, Fiona Ridgewell, Christina O'Sullivan, and Eryn Tett.
Tett and O'Connell were named runners-up.
This was the 17th year of the Funny Women Awards. Previous winners include Katherine Ryan, Zoe Lyons, Jayde Adams, Desiree Burch, Harriet Braine, Sara Pascoe, Susan Calman, Rachel Parris, Bridget Christie, Kerry Godliman and Roisin Conaty and Thanyia Moore.
