Contestants revealed for Taskmaster New Year special

Comedians replaced by celebs for one-off show

The line-up has been revealed for the Taskmaster New Year’s special – with the usual comedians replaced by celebrities.

Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, Channel 4 News anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy, TV presenter  Rylan Clark-Neal, Derry Girls star  Nicola Coughlan and film actor John Hannah.

 Greg Davies remains Taskmaster and series creator Alex Horne his sidekick.

The one-off special comes after the show moved from its original home on Dave to Channel 4, where it has enjoyed record ratings.

Transmission details have yet be confirmed, but a teaser trailer has been released:
