    John Bishop announces new tour

More than 100 dates as comedian hits the road for the first time in three years

John Bishop has announced more than 100 stand-up dates starting next year – his first full tour in more than three years.

Right Here, Right Now World Tour kicks off in  Peterborough on September 21, following work-in-progress shows rescheduled from this autumn.

Bishop said: ‘After the last six months we’ve all endured, it feels like a lifetime since I last performed in front of a live audience.

‘There’s nothing like stand-up comedy to put a smile back on your face, so I can’t wait to get back out on the road.’

Bishop’s last show, Winging It, played to more than 400,000 in 2017 and 2018.

Tickets for Right Here Right Now, which culminates at the O2 in London on April 8, 2022,   go on sale at 10am this Friday

Earlier this month Bishop launched a podcast with writer, actor and director Tony Pitts called Three Little Words with guests talking about the lives based on the words that mean most to them.
