Bert Kreischer, King of the Drive In, will Host TBS Extreme Talent Show and Extend Tour

You can’t keep Bert Kreischer down, not even in a world pandemic. When comedy shut down, Kreischer went big. He took his tour bus and rolled through city after city selling out drive in shows across the country. Today, Thursday September 10th tickets go on sale for another 12 dates extending the tour through October (please visit bertbertbert.com for tix).

But that alone would not have given Kreischer the kingdom. On the same day he announced his drive in tour would extend through the end of October, TBS announced that Bert will host the first ever, drive in talent competition series that will debut with a simultaneous broadcast on TBS, TNT and truTV.

The series titled Go-Big Show is described as an extreme talent competition show with an interactive drive-in audience and a $100,000 prize. The full season series will film ten episodes at Macon Coliseum in Georgia with celebrity judges Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles and “The American Nightmare” Cody.

What’s extreme talent? Think monster trucks, alligator trainers, stunt archery and other radical feats and daring acts.

Strict Covid-19 safety protocols are being observed with group isolation taking place during filming. That means the arena seating will be empty, but spectators will participate live from the parking lot, tailgate style.

“We are going bigger and bolder with our unscripted line-up at TBS to provide more of the content that viewers love from our platform,” said Brett Weitz, General Manager, TNT, TBS and truTV. “Go-Big Show not only delivers on this promise with a thrilling new take on talent competition, but it’s also another example of our innovative spirit as we continue to create brand-defining, must-watch television.”

Debuting on TBS in 2021, Go-Big Show is produced by Propagate and Matador Content, a Boatrocker Company. The series is executive produced by Todd Lubin and Jay Peterson of Matador Content; Howard T. Owens, Ben Silverman, and Greg Lipstone of Propagate Content; showrunner Conrad Green; Bert Kreischer, Snoop Dogg and Ted Chung for Snoopadelic Films.
