Ben Roy & Chris Marrs Bringing All Scripted Podcast About a Radio Morning Show to All Things Comedy
All Things Comedy, the world’s leading comedy podcast network founded by comics Al Madrigal and Bill Burr, has partnered with 97.9 The Rat Race, the first fully-scripted original comedy podcast on the ATC network. The first episode is out now.
Created by Ben Roy and Chris Marrs, 97.9 The Rat Race follows the misadventures of the fictional morning zoo radio crew at “Donny D in the Morning” on the eponymous FM station. Each episode finds the show’s cast of characters, Donny D., Animal and Tara, juggling guests, promotions, live remotes and more while trying to manage the bizarre lives of morning radio celebrities. Called relentlessly upbeat and brilliantly dark, the show is a subversive pop-culture satire delivered in that distinctly low-brow American medium – morning zoo radio. And if anyone can handle brilliantly dark its Ben Roy whose 2018 album “Ooze Your Delusions” made our top ten list for the year.

97.9 The Rat Race stars the voices of Roy and Marrs, along with actor and comedian, Beth Hoyt, and is directed by Evan Nix.
