Funny and fabulous Michelle Buteau is debuting her first hour special and it’s premiering on Netflix.
Coming in September, Michelle Buteau: Welcome to Buteaupia promises to let loose. With a goblet of frosé in hand, she delivers a dynamic hour of comedy that delves into parenthood, cultural difference, and the overlooked value of short men. Her refreshingly honest approach reminds us to appreciate government workers named Otis and, most importantly, that character counts. The special is produced by Page Hurwitz And Wanda Sykes with their Push It Productions co, and Hurwitz Also Directs.
Buteau is a powerhouse on stage- New Yorkers have known it for years. She’s also the host of award winning podcast, Late Night Whenever, co-host of the Adulting podcast from WNYC, and credits include Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup,and a bunch of great appearances in movies including Someone Great, Isn’t It Romantic, and Always Be My Maybe.
