Bill Bailey to play Latitude's main stage
As Jo Brand, Katherine Ryan and more announced for comedy arena
Bill Bailey is to play this year’s Latitude festival, after his headlining appearance last year was cancelled because of the pandemic.
He will become the first comedian to play the main Obelisk stage , rather than the comedy arena, taking a Sunday afternoon slot.
It has also today been announced that Katherine Ryan will be headlining the comedy stage, on a bill that also includes Jo Brand and festival stalwarts Marcus Brigstocke and Mark Watson,
Others taking part include Simon Amstell, Mo Gilligan, Mawaan Rizwan, Rosie Jones, Ed Byrne and internet star Munya Chawawa making the transition to the live stage.
Today’s announcement is rounded off by Judi Love, Darren Harriott, David Morgan, Flo & Joan, Glenn Moore, Helen Bauer, Josie Long, Kerry Godliman, Lauren Pattison, Lou Sanders, Luisa Omielan, Reginald D Hunter, Sophie Duker and Tiff Stevenson.
The festival, which takes place in Henham Park, Suffolk, from July 22 to 25 has also announced that the music headliners will be Wolf Alice, The Chemical Brothers, Bastille and Bombay Bicycle Club.
Tickets, priced £226.80 for an adult weekend pass, are available here.
