Alan Partridge announces live tour
Steve Coogan is to go on tour next spring as Alan Partridge.
Stratagem With Alan Partridge will play 14 cities, starting in Belfast on April 22 and ending in London’s O2 arena on May 31 , spreading his ‘message of hope.’
Promoters Phil McIntyre Live say the stage show ‘promises to inform, educate and entertain in approximately equal measure’
‘Wearing a head-mic favoured by TED talkers, market hawkers, TV evangelists, backing singers and carnival barkers, Alan combines all these roles and more,’ goes their blurb.
‘It’s a manifesto for the way we can move forward, a roadmap to a better tomorrow, an ABC for the way to be.’
The show has been written by Coogan, with Neil and Rob Gibbons, the co writers of his current BBC One show This Time.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Saturday.
