Brighton Comedy Garden returns

Mammoth outdoor gigs this summer

Brighton’s Comedy Garden is to return this year, featuring stars such as  Sara Pascoe, Dara Ó Briain, Alan Davies and Aisling Bea.

The event will return to the city’s Preston Park from July 14 to 18, but as a completely outdoor event - not the big top that was used when the event previously ran in 2019.

Organisers Cass Randolph and Will Briggs are also running the Greenwich Comedy Festival and the Bristol  Comedy Gardens along similar guidelines this summer.

Cass says of the Brighton event: ‘We were heartbroken to have to cancel last year’s event.  But everything is in front of us now and we consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have been able to reimagine our event to suit these challenging times’.

Other comics appearing include Tom Allen, Nish Kumar, Josh Widdicombe and Phil Wang, Jamali Maddix, Nina Conti,   Ed Gamble and John Robins.
