Fourth series for Richard Herring’s Relativity

The Snell family will return to Radio 4

Radio 4 has commissioned a fourth series of  Richard Herring’s family comedy-drama, Relativity.

Six more half-hour episodes of the show, loosely based on the comedian and writer’s own relatives, will air next year.

He said: ‘I am very excited to revisit the Snell family and to find out how they resolve the mess I left them in at the end of the last series. Thanks so much to Radio 4 for having us back. Buttered Weetabix all round.’

The cast includes Alison Steadman,  Phil Davis, and Emily Berrington as well as Herring himself.

  Jon Thoday, executive producer for programme-makers Avalon, said: ‘We are delighted that this show from one of the UK’s funniest writers is returning to Radio 4.’
