Comedians to go snooping around homes

For a new BBC One entertainment format

Bill Bailey, Emily Atack, Jamali Maddix and Judi Love are to star in a new primetime  BBC show that mixes Through The Keyhole with Would I Lie To You?

In This Is My House, four contestants claim to live in a certain property – but only one of them is telling the truth.

The comedians – plus a guest panellist each week - will have to determine who the liars are. If the panel guess correctly, the honest homeowner will win a cash prize.

Broadcaster Richard Bacon devised the format with TV executive Nick Weidenfeld. The six-part series will be hosted by Stacey Dooley and air from this spring.

Bailey said: ‘I think it’s a lot of fun, something that everyone needs at the moment, and I’m sure viewers at home are going to love playing along. I consider myself a good judge of character, so I hope I’ll be able to spot the liars from the real homeowner and help win them some money.’

Maddix added: ‘I had a good time snooping round people's houses, it's a fun show!’
