THE STAND-UP SKETCH SHOW: Another series of ITV2’s odd hybrid in which comedians tell a story in front of an audience, intercut with a  live-action reconstruction. Russell Kane, Kojo Anim, Seann Walsh, Elf Lyons, Luke Kempner, Josh Weller and Jayde Adams appear in the first episode.  ITV2, 9pm

RICHARD OSMAN’S HOUSE OF GAMES: Everyone’s a comedian in this week’s run, with contestants Kae Kurd, Andrew Hunter Murray from Austentaitious and No Such Thing As A Fish, Kate Robbins and Zoe Lyons, whose own game show, the new format Lightning, follows immediately afterwards. BBC Two, 6pm

WOULD I LIE TO YOU: Sara Pascoe is among the guests this week, alongside Mr Motivator, Dan Walker and Derry Girls and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan. BBC One, 9pm

GOSSIP AND GODDESSES: Granny Kumar is back. Meera Syal’s creation returns, with her great-granddaughter Maya (Ambreen Razia) and ‘frenemy’ Geeta (Harvey Virdi) to chat with their all-female guests. In episode one, it’s  journalist Samira Ahmed and actress Thandie Newton. Radio 4, 6.30pm

ABILITY: The third series of the comedy based on Lost Voice Guy Lee Ridley’s life comes to Radio 4.  Matt, who has cerebral palsy, is still sharing a flat with his best mate, Jess (Sammy Dobson) and tolerating his rubbish carer, Bob (Jason Lewis), but now could there be romance on the horizon? The series is co-written by Kat Butterfield and Daniel Audritt. Radio 4, 11.30am

ON THE HOUR: Another chance to hear Chris Morris’s savagely satirical 1991 show that was at the forefront of a comedy renaissance as the likes of Armando Iannucci, Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, Rebecca Front and Steve Coogan all stretched their creative muscles. Radio 4 Extra, 10.30pm
