Sky buys The Flight Attendant

Comedy-drama with Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco

Sky has today bought the rights to The Flight Attendant, a US comedy-drama starring Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco.

The eight-episode series revolves around the titular character waking up in a Bangkok hotel with a dead man at her side – and no idea what happened. It is based on the novel of the same name by author Chris Bohjalian.

The Flight Attendant launched on HBO Max in the  US on November 26 in the U.S. and was quickly renewed for a second season. It has been positively reviewed by critics, with aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes summarising the show ‘an addictively intriguing slice of stylish pulp that will bring mystery aficionados to Cloud Nine’.

Co-stars include Michiel Huisman, Zosia Mamet, T.R. Knight, Michelle Gomez and Rosie Perez.

It will air on Sky One from March 19, then on-demand via Now TV. Here's a trailer:
