Third series for Stath Lets Flats
Channel 4 has ordered a third series of Stath Lets Flats.
The returning cast includes creator Jamie Demetriou, his sister Natasia, plus Al Roberts, Christos Stergioglou, Katy Wix, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Ellie White.
Demetriou said: ‘This is lovely. I love Channel 4. Thanks so much for having us back for a series 3. Sorry the title is still hard to say. Love Jamie Demetriou from Stalph Les Flav.’
Set in an ailing property rental agency, Stath Lets Flats won three Baftas this year: best male actor in a comedy, best writer of comedy and best scripted comedy. And the cast reunited for a lockdown special in May on YouTube.
Channel 4’s head of comedy, Fiona McDermott, said: ‘Stath’s irrepressible and bewildering approach to life, love and business is just what the nation needs right now.
‘We’re so proud of Jamie and the team’s multiple award-success and delighted that we can celebrate this roster of incredible domestic talent by backing another series.’
The show is also available on HBO Max in the States.
No broadcast date for the new series has yet been announced.
