Jessica Kirson Headlining NYC Livestream Benefit

The John A. Reisenbach Foundation (JAR), an organization dedicated to rebuilding a better and safer New York, is partnering with the Upper West Side’s storied Triad Theatre to livestream a 90-minute virtual comedy event, Dear New York: We All Need A Laugh. The event will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 6:30pm EST to bring attention to and raise funds for New Yorkers who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and those who were vulnerable before the pandemic.

Jessica Kirson will headline an evening of comedy hosted by Alvin Irby that will feature Gina Brillon, Vladamir Caamaño, and include Sarah Tollemache, Ashley Brooke, and Steve O’Brien. All the performers will be performing from the Triad theater following strict safety measures, but you will not have to leave the comfort and safety of your couch, bed, or hottub to see the show..

The event will be broadcast via Zoom and a link will be sent out 24-hours prior to the event to all who have donated through the GoFundMe page. While there is no set ticket price for the event, in order to receive the livestream link to Dear New York: We All Need A Laugh, a donation to JAR is required. Funds raised will benefit underserved communities in New York City, and support JAR’s pandemic relief efforts.

The John A. Reisenbach Foundation has been serving the five boroughs of the NYC community for almost 30 years helping to build a better and safer New York City for those who live, work, and visit. JAR focuses on the fundamental needs of under-represented or marginalized communities across four areas: education; justice and safety; housing and community; and now pandemic relief. Honoring the memory of advertising media executive John A. Reisenbach, who was the victim of a random and senseless murder in Greenwich Village in 1990, the foundation was inspired by John’s passion for life and compassion for others.
