    Comedies in the running for Broadcast Digital Awards 2020

    • Best Comedy: Brassic, Breeders, Enterprice, Man Like Mobeen, The Young Offenders, This Country
    • Best Short-Form Scripted: Brain In Gear, Fully Blown, Get Real Dude, Lazy Susan, Sorry, Transaction
    • Shopping With Keith Lemon, Judge Romesh and Rosie Tries To Help are also amongst the nominees

    A number of comedies are in the running for the Broadcast Digital Awards 2020. Run by the trade magazine Broadcast, the awards focus on content from channels not considered 'terrestrial', and aim to "celebrate leading digital content from across the UK".

    The comedy-related nominees are:

    All six nominations in the short-form scripted category happen to be comedies this year. The shortlisted shows are:

    Elsewhere in the nominations, Shopping With Keith Lemon and Judge Romesh vie for the Best Entertainment Programme title alongside Eating With My Ex, Killer Camp, RuPaul's Drag Race UK and The Rap Game UK.

    BBC Scotland's comedy drama Guilt is nominated in the Best Drama Programme category, as is BBC Three comedy drama My Left Nut.

    Meanwhile the Best Short-Film Format category features Rosie Tries To Help, the Comedy Central series starring Rosie Jones.
